Quick Thoughts on the Astros Series

You don't have to force a smile Pete, we understand.

The Mariners have played the Astros three times. The Mariners lost two times. They didn't just lose by a little, they got crushed. The Astros, who have been the victims of constant ridicule and mockery, scored 24 runs on 37 hits. 8 of these hits were home runs. All in all, it was a very forgettable series for Mariners pitching. They did manage to strike out 27 Astros in 3 games, though this actually lowered Houston's average strike outs per game from 12.3 to 11.2.

I don't really have many words for the series, so here now, I present to you my emotional state from the day the Astros arrived in Seattle, to the end of the game last night.

Thanks a lot, Astros. You ruined the one thing I enjoyed about you. I hope by the end of the season, I'll be able to laugh at the you again.
