One homestand, two series, six games. It’s hard to believe that the end of the rollercoaster of the 2021 regular season is near, but we’re not done yet. Oh, not even close. With the Red Sox, Yankees, and Blue Jays all idle, the Mariners have a chance to gain half a game in the wild card standings while putting some more distance between themselves and the A’s, and who better to beat up on than the ultimate heel, Cole Irvin?

Considering we just saw these A’s last week, there isn’t a ton different in either lineup - the M’s are running their standard order against lefty starters, and Oakland has Vimael Machín filling in for the injured Elvis Andrus, and perpetual pest Tony Kemp leading off. There was also a smallish roster move earlier today, with Justus Sheffield being swapped out for Wyatt Mills, and an option for tomorrow’s starter was further confirmed.
Matt Brash is here at T-Mobile. So make of that what you will https://t.co/6bnuq2C5RI
