M’s ascend to new low

As of last night, the M’s own the lowest team BA in MLB. The 6-9 hitters are atrocious. It doesn’t look like there’s any help for the immediate future, which sits squarely on DiPoto’s shoulders. Trotting out Moore and Bauer’s is an exercise in offensive futility. Raleigh and Kelenic will make strides in the next month, but it’s hard to watch them flail and fail more than they bash and flash their nascent talents. Fraley is a 4th outfielder at best. Lewis would have made a big difference in the middle of the lineup, but that still leaves us with 6-9.
