Hello and welcome back to FanPost Friday! My apologies for the lack of FPF last week. My family had to deal with a COVID-19 exposure involving our unvaccinated kids and I’ll be honest, it’s been a rough stretch! Thankfully, my direct family and children have continued to test negative. Of the seven people who were infected through this line of contact tracing, six were vaccinated adults and one was a small child. Fortunately, they are all recovering well. This serves as an important reminder that this pandemic is not quite over and we should all still exercise caution, even if you’re vaccinated, when we’re around people outside of our direct bubble. All right, sorry for the personal stuff, but that’s what I’ve been dealing with and it sucks and I hope all LLers (especially those with small kids) are able to avoid any such exposure going forward.
Anyways, today we’re talking about the farm system and promotions. We’re starting to see some movement of players here and there, most notably with 2019 draft pick Cade Marlowe moving up to Everett and just today, pitcher Brandon Williamson is on his way to Arkansas.
