- Led by both top prospects and MLB veterans, USA Baseball has released its training camp roster for the upcoming WBSC Americas Olympic Baseball Qualifier, which will begin on May 31st in Florida.
- Cleveland Indians RF and RBI leader Franmil Reyes is headed to the IL and will be out for five to seven weeks with an internal oblique strain. Cleveland’s top hitting prospect, infielder Owen Miller, has been called up from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move.
