- After having to postpone their season-opening series against the Braves due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the club, the Nationals are set to play their first game on Tuesday as the team announced there have been no new positive tests.
- Arizona Diamondbacks reliever Joakim Soria was forced to leave yesterday’s game early with an apparent calf injury, predicted to be a sprain, while racing to cover first base to record an out late in the game.
