Why does everybody want to trade Mitch Haniger?

Over the past winter and into this spring I keep hearing people discussing the "advantages" of trading Mitch Haniger.

Yes, we have an embarrassment of riches in good, young outfielders. Yes, Mitch has had injuries (too many and too frustrating).

However, Mitch is the real deal. He is not just above average at the plate and in the field, he has always performed at the very top of all outfielders.

In my opinion, the proper question would be what could the Mariners do to retain Mitch and what could they get if they traded one of the outstanding PROSPECTS.

Can we change the conversation, please?

I love watching Mitch play in the field and perform at the plate, game in game out.

I also believe, from what I hear, that Mitch brings a maturity and team attitude to the Mariners that would be almost impossible to replace with any prospect.
