How will the Mariners pull out an improbable late-game win tonight?

The Seattle Mariners, who I will remind you are leading the American League West, are looking for their fourth straight win. All that stands in the way is Zack Greinke and the Astros’ C- lineup. Still no Altuve, Bregman, or Álvarez for Houston as the noted cheaters deal with their internal COVID outbreak.

Chris Flexen is the M’s starter tonight. He’ll get his second ever look at the Astros, and first as a Mariner. The Astros’ depleted lineup tonight probably isn’t too dissimilar, talent wise, to what Flexen saw in Korea last season. This might bode well for Seattle, who is not starting Taylor Trammell or Tom Murphy. If you will be at the game tonight, tell them I say hi, while continuing to boo the Astros, even the ones who weren’t there in 2017. I think it’s very funny.
