Good afternoon, and welcome back to Mariners Spring Training baseball on Lookout Landing dot com, brought to you by BITCHIN’ SAUCE. After a ho-hum affair last night featuring most of the starters, today’s day game gives a look at the team’s future stars and also some guys who are just happy to be here (I’m assuming, I know I would be).
Nick Margevicius gets a chance to perhaps gain some ground in the battle for the sixth starter spot in the rotation after Justin Dunn’s mixed-bag performance last night. Top prospects Jarred Kelenic, Julio Rodríguez, and Cal Raleigh will get their hacks in today, but yet again, this game is unfortunately radio-only so we’ll have to rely on reporters and and the team’s social media folks to provide with the highlights of the sure-to-be-clobbered home runs.
