Hello, and welcome to what would be a great way to escape the shitshow that is... [gestures broadly]. That is, if San Francisco didn’t currently look like something out of a dystopian novel.
Did you know tonight’s Giants-Mariners game will be the first ever MLB game played on Mars? pic.twitter.com/pNk8xfN1BI

Servais said the game is being played tonight and that it looks very weird, but doesn't have that typical smokey smell. .

According to the EPA, the air in San Francisco at the moment is of “Moderate” quality (as opposed to “Good” or “Unhealthy”), meaning “acceptable, but... may be a moderate health concern for a very small number of people”. It sure looks bad, though. Aesthetics be damned, they’re playing, so here are the lineups.
The Mariners continue to play with some of their shiny new toys (France, Torrens) and some of their clunky toys that their aunt got for them from Target on the way to their birthday party (Ervin, Margevicius). They’re just two games out of a playoff spot with 18 days left in the season, so hey! Go Phillip Ervin.
