Good afternoon, folks, and apologies for the delayed thread. These 3:40 start times sneak up on you! We have a pretty fun matchup today, with future Hall of Famer Zack Greinke going for the Astros against Nick Margevicius, who’s had himself a perfectly fine sophomore season in the bigs thus far. Here’s hoping he can cap off 2020 with a solid performance and stave off playoff elimination for one more day.

Wait, where’s Jake Fraley? Ugly performance last night aside, we were told he’d be playing pretty much every game the last week of the year. What gives with Marmo in left?
The @Mariners have made the following roster moves:

· Braden Bishop, OF, recalled from the alternate training site.
· Jake Fraley, OF, placed on 10-Day Injured List with right quad strain.

Ah. Well then. Not sure how an athlete in his physical prime can strain a quad while striking out three times and making one running catch, but I suppose anything can happen. Despite receiving a combined 70 plate appearances in the Majors the past two years, one has to wonder if we’ve seen the last of Fraley as a Mariner. I, personally, am leaning towards “yes”, and wouldn’t be shocked to see him go in a trade for some pitching this offseason. We can expect Braden Bishop to be, at the very least, a defensive replacement, especially considering the team is running with Marmolejos and Tim Lopes in the corners today.
