That is... certainly a lineup. I assume Sam Haggerty is hitting leadoff because “fast”. J.P. Crawford has the day off, with Dylan Moore sliding into shortstop in his stead. While Crawford’s glove has still been fabulous, the bat has fallen off in a big way - he hasn’t had an extra-base hit since July 27th and his slugging percentage dipped under .300 last night. Yeesh. We have both catchers in the lineup, as well, with Austin Nola taking over for Evan White and his banged-up knee. With one of the greatest pitchers of the era in Clayton Kershaw going for LA, it’s hard to see the M’s pull out a tim here. Here’s hoping for good individual performances!
