MLB: Seattle Mariners at Houston Astros

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Hello and welcome to FanPost Friday on a Saturday! In the last 48 hours or so we went from scraping together baseball content for months to suddenly having a firehouse of beginning of season stuff to write about, so we pushed the ol’ FPF to today. Let’s get into it!

The Mariners predictably lost to the Justin Verlander-led Astros last night, but I want to hear from the LL community on how you think the rest of the season will go for our young crew of baseballers. First, start thinking about your TWO most FLAMING, CONTROVERSIAL, and BOLD #takes and predictions. Second, check out these sweet, sweet POLLS:

Okay, you got those two flaming hot takes ready to go? Throw them in the comments section and let’s talk about ‘em.

I hope everyone has a good weekend and enjoys the return of baseball, even though it’s weird and fan-less. Stay healthy and take care of yourselves!
