- This is great news for Phillies employees.
According to source, Phillies full-time employees were told today that there would be no furloughs or layoffs due to the coronavirus shutdown through the end of the fiscal year (end of Oct). Hope is still that BB returns in coming weeks.

- Rest in peace, Mary.
We are terribly sad to report that former Rockford Peaches and Kenosha Comets pitcher, Mary Pratt passed away on May 6th. She was 101 years old. Mary was the last known original Peaches player that played on the 1943 team. Her stories, her energy will be missed for a long time. pic.twitter.com/dKFlbbBzf8

Thank you to everyone for their positive comments, follows, retweets and likes. Can’t wait to watch all of our favorite MLB teams live again. pic.twitter.com/V9BN5srHmQ
- You’re going to ban spitting? Good luck.
More possible MLB changes for 2020: limited travel, no x-county flights, more divisional play, expanded rosters, taxi squads, expanded playoffs, more experiments (runner on 2B in extra innings?), more doubleheaders, fewer off days, high-fiving/spitting discouraged or forbidden.

- The Yankees are in an especially tough situation following yesterday’s draft news.
The Yankees gave up their 2nd and 5th rounders to sign Gerrit Cole. Only 1st, 3rd, and 4th rounders this year. https://t.co/xaMlC7Thzx
