Ah, the beauty of an Arizona sunset during a night game at Spring Training. Well, you’ll just have to imagine it since this game is radio-only. Think lots of pinks, oranges, and purples, punctuated by bored children rolling down the berm into dizzy oblivion. Oh, and practice baseball. Can’t forget that!

Lineups!

So we have at least 2/3rds of an opening day-ish lineup here for the Mariners, but the most important thing to watch for will probably be how Taijuan Walker’s outing goes. The team has been wisely stretching Walker out slowly as he is still knocking the rust off post-TJ surgery and rehab, so this will be his first non-intersquad game action of the spring. Here’s to an uneventful and satisfactory 2 innings or so!

Old frienemy Justin Smoak is in the lineup for the Brewers, so everyone control yourself and try not to ragequit the game thread too hard if he ropes one out. Also, if you missed the news, Christian Yelich got paid for many years to come a’la Bobby Bonilla.

Anyways, it’s Monday night. Tune in, drop out, and go Mariners. Our Fearless Leader Kate will be in attendance tonight for her first Cactus League game of 2020, so check out @LookoutLanding on Twitter for some first-person updates!
