No Bishop means more Kelenic

Let’s get right down to it. With today’s roster news, I’mma need a PUIG SIGNING as soon as possible (#PuigYourMariner). Anyway, on to the lineups.

As Shannon notes, the travel game means no Trout, though Logan Gilbert will still get a very nice test from Brian Goodwin and Shohei Ohtani, and oh I guess there will be other hitters there too. On the Seattle side, Kelenic replaces Braden Bishop, who originally was set to start. The M’s will face a real major league pitcher in Dylan Bundy, who likely currently slots in as the second-best Angels rotation hand.

Today starts a run of six straight TV games for the Mariners, as this one is available via Anaheim’s feed on MLB.tv.
