Hello and Merry Christmas to all LLers who celebrate the holiday, and cheers and well wishes to everyone who doesn’t. I hope you are all safe and warm today. It’s still a Friday and by golly, I’ve got a prompt for you.
Again I will say: just WHERE was Michael Caine’s Oscar for The Muppets’ Christmas Carol? #robbed pic.twitter.com/iXy8o17hnx

Most of us are familiar with “A Christmas Carol” in one form or another, yes? I was struck during a recent re-watch of “A Muppet Christmas Carol” that Ebenezer Scrooge handles seeing his past self really well, all things considered. If you had to sit by idly and watch your past self experience a traumatic breakup, how would you handle it? I want to die just imagining having to listen to myself talk during such a moment. I’d have an absolute freak-out. Anyways, it made me think a lot about the awesome power of the Ghost of Christmas Past. Talk about a power that can just absolutely level a person. But, hey, since it’s Christmas, what if you got to re-experience something good?
Prompt: If you could Ghost of Christmas Past yourself to any baseball moment, what would you choose?
For the sake of discussion, you can pick one Mariners moment and one baseball moment in general, but it has to be something you personally witnessed live, on TV, or on radio. What would it be like seeing yourself experience that moment again? Would it be joyous? Would it be different than you remember?
Anyways, sound off in the comments with your two moments or write a whole FanPost if you’re feeling generous.
Merry Christmas and be kind to one another out there. Thanks for being part of the LL community.
The darkest day, today

Please accept this offering of that bit in A Muppets Christmas Carol when Rizzo kisses Gonzo which I have to believe was improvised & they decided to keep it in. pic.twitter.com/oFXS0CRP58
