FanPost Friday: Drought versus playoff misery

The grass is pretty rough looking on both sides, to be quite honest

After the Minnesota Twins continued their playoff ineptitude on Wednesday and got booted out of the 2020 MLB playoffs in two games by the dastardly Houston Astros, I saw a similar question get repeated throughout Mariners Twitter and beyond.

So, I would like to pose the question to the LL community. Feel free to respond in the comments or write a FanPost with your most passionate take.

Prompt: If you had to choose one path, would you rather have 19 years of no playoffs or 18 straight playoff game losses?

I attach no qualifiers, just 18 straight playoff losses over the same time period that Mariners have failed to make the playoffs. Which one is worse and why? Which one provides more misery?
