The Arkansas Travelers (Double-A affiliate of the Mariners) start their postseason tonight as they begin a five-game series against the Tulsa Drillers (Double-A affiliate of the Dodgers). Several of Seattle’s top prospects are currently in Arkansas, with JULIOOOOOO Rodriguez serving as the only real headliner of the team’s system that isn’t there.
Jarred Kelenic (Baseball America’s 24th-ranked prospect) and Evan White (75th) bat second and third for the Travs tonight, giving fans a great chance to see them in sparkling HD, as ROOT Sports will be covering the action from Dickey-Stephens Park in Little Rock. Things in that part of the world seem...sweaty.

Ricardo Sánchez gets the start tonight, which comes as a bit of a let down for folks hoping to watch Logan Gilbert. The Mariners announced today that Gilbert will be shut down for the rest of the season and sit out the Travelers’ playoff run. The 2018 first-round pick has thrown 135 innings this season.
The Mariners have decided to shut Logan Gilbert down for the season. He won't pitch in the Texas League playoffs. https://t.co/1JaP7LNCao

Pitchers Ljay Newsome and Justin Dunn are both on the Arkansas roster, and presumably will show up later in the series. According to Ryan Divish, the currently injured Art Warren could factor in as well. Other notable prospects are in the lineup tonight, though, and on both sides.
