After an exciting couple of days watching Kyle Lewis and Donnie Walton play against the Cincinnati Reds, we get to see one more big name from the farm take the stage tonight as Justin Dunn, the Mariners’ #5 prospect, gets the start in his major league debut.

Dunn has greatly decreased his walk rate from last year, but as previously reported, we’ll be looking to see if he can pitch efficiently at the big league level, as despite getting the out more often than not, he still pitched into a lot of full counts this year at the AA level. Primarily, though, the takeaway here is - say it with me - thank u, Mets.
