The last time Félix pitched in Texas was... not fun, to understate. Eleven runs, seven earned, six innings, and it was at that point where many accepted that the King was dead. So the bar for him today is quite low!

Why the Rangers held onto Lance Lynn and Mike Minor at the deadline is beyond me, but Lynn will square off against Seattle tonight. Just three Ks away from becoming the 11th Ranger to reach 200 strikeouts in a season, Lynn has scuffled a bit in his last few starts, but has given the M’s fits all year. The bottom third of Texas’s lineup is pretty barren, too, with Isiah Kiner-Falefa’s 61 wRC+ being the highest of the trio. Fun fact: Jeff Mathis has received nearly 200 plate appearances this season. His wRC+ is 8. Eight!
