Tonight in Seattle, the premiere of “Mariners vs. Angels 665: Demonic Prelude”.
Coming in on a blazing hot six-game losing streak, the Mariners will face the Angels for the 665th time in franchise history. This brings the Angels (362-302 record vs. the M’s) to an even tie with Texas (339-326) for most games played against Seattle. Today also marks the first time in history that the Angels will play a game on the same day they DFA’d Matt Harvey.
#Angels DFA Matt Harvey.

Their three big winter FA pitcher signings; Harvey ($11 million) DFA, Cody Allen ($8.5 million) DFA, Trevor Cahill ($9 million) moved to bullpen. That's $28.5 million for basically no return.
Kris Negrón starts in left, and Justin Upton is out for the Angels. After writing 664 of these scripts, the writers get a little bored. They can’t all be as good as “Mariners vs. Angels 304: Everybody Scores!”
