Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in-fans from each team. If you’d like to be included in the survey of Mariners fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
Here in our third week of FanPulse results we’re starting to get enough data to track how fans are feeling week-to-week. With the Mariners off to their hottest start in literal decades, you won’t be surprised to find that fans feel confident in the direction of the team:

Scott Servais is enjoying the winning bump as well, with his Manager Approval rating shooting up to 87% from last week’s 79%.
Those are pretty lofty numbers, but they’re only good for third-best in the AL West: Astros fans (97%) and Oakland fans (96%) edge out Mariners fans (94%) in the confidence index.
This week, we did things a little differently and polled all respondents on the same question:

I don’t have the numbers broken out by our specific community, but I’d be surprised if those numbers aren’t a little more heavily in favor of batflips for us. I wonder which communities are dragging the numbers down. Who do you think are the most curmudgeonly fanbases?
