The Royals, who have lost eight consecutive games after opening their season 2-0, turn to right-hander Heath Filmyer in hopes of ending their skid. It’ll be the season debut for Filmyer, who posted a 4.26/4.75/4.60 pitcher’s slash line through 17 games (13 starts) with the Royals last year in his debut season.
