3/10/19: Open Game Thread

The Mariners are playing two games today. This thread will be about their televised game against the Angels. Today will be a good chance to see some new Mariners play against some MLB talent. Lefty Tyler Skaggs is on the bump for the Angels. The first four Mariners he faces were not with the organization last year.

It’s interesting to note that the ‘Ners are trotting out five lefties against Tyler Skaggs, who struck out 27.5% of the left handed batters he faced last year. It’s spring training though, so I guess all you can say is “it be like that sometimes.” Mike Leake will get a chance to rebound after forfeiting five runs in his last start.
