Two Mariners games are happening today, the first already in progress. The Mariners’ “B” game is nearing its conclusion as this is published, with several top prospects and known regulars involved. Ryon Healy and Kyle Lewis have each clobbered homers off the NC Dinos of the Korean Baseball Organization. Julio Rodriguez was robbed of a basehit by a diving stop on a liner up the middle.

Jarred Kelenic is 2-for-2 with a single and a triple (although he was picked off of first).
For today’s second act, Seattle will face the NL Central champions, the Milwaukee Brewers. We’ll get a lineup that has a great chance of being 8/9ths of the Opening Day group (sorry José Lobatón). For me, the most exciting things to watch will be... tracking Dee Gordon’s continued hot start, watching Kyle Seager’s revamped swing, seeing Ichiro, and of course Justus Sheffield.
The extended roster is thin on top prospects, with Evan White potentially still held back on minor hamstring tightness. The shorter group of subs means we should see a few rounds of the starters here at least, and Corbin Burnes will provide solid competition on the mound, even if Milwaukee’s lineup is prospect-heavy (Hey Keston Hiura!)
