2019 American League West Preview

Now is the time on Sprockets when we dance, and now is the time in the off-season where we look around at our AL West rivals and size them up for the season. Since the Mariners are theoretically not competing this year, we’re going to compress these previews some this season, offering these in two-part series: one piece that examines where a team is coming from and what their lineup should look like, and one that looks into the team’s pitching and attempts to look into the future to assess the farm system and overall organizational trajectory over the coming years.
