Hello and welcome to FanPost Friday! I’m going to try something a little different this week and really let y’all get wild. Here’s your prompt:

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever done for the sake of your Mariners fandom?

Let’s see, it’s only fair that I start. Hmmm, well, my Dae-Ho Lee bootleg jersey debacle was well-documented here. Also, I once bought a ticket to the first and only Dustin Ackley bobblehead night just to get the bobblehead because I had plans with family that night but couldn’t bare the thought of missing out on Ackley’s bobblehead. Mmmm, yep, that’s a good one. Woof.

So let’s hear some embarrassing stories or maybe some wild, but great stories like how you bailed on work and sprinted to the stadium or the nearest sports bar to see the end of Felix’s perfect game, Iwakuma’s no-hitter, or Paxton’s no-hitter. Stories of doing something stupid just to catch a special moment are always good. Or perhaps trying to catch a moment and failing miserably, those are fun, too (in retrospect).
