What’s a weekend without links?

Yesterday, Edgar Martinez sat down to talk with Harold Reynolds about his induction into the Hall of Fame.

I remember when I was five years old my grandparents took my twin sister and I to a Mariners game. They asked who our favorite players were. I chose John Olerud (because I was five and he was number five) and my sister said hers was Edgar Martinez. Since then I’ve always remembered Edgar in my head as “Edgar Martinez - Jamie’s favorite player.” Well, I don’t really know why I shared all that other than to say congrats, Edgar!
