Welcome to the final FanPost Friday of the 2018 season. I know many of us are feeling sad, bitter, angry, defeated, or just plain over it, but we’re going to try to end it on a high note anyways. Look back upon those halcyon days of April, May, and June while you consider this prompt.
What is your favorite 2018 Seattle Mariners moment?
It can be something that happened during a game, or perhaps off the field a la Ichiro hijinks (haha remember Ichiro was a rostered player for the first two months of the season? That feels like a billion years ago).
Or maybe your favorite moment wasn’t at Safeco Field. I know one of my most cherished baseball memories of the summer was going to the Everett AquaSox game and seeing Robinson Canó hit a meaningless yet very meaningful grand slam. But, at Safeco, I’m gonna have to give it up for our Large Adult Son’s Very Large Home Run.
So, what’s your favorite moment? Submit a FanPost for old time’s sake and we’ll front page the best submissions over the weekend. Tell us all about YOUR experience of the moment, what you were going through, and how it made you feel. Or get real creative and weird with it, whatever works!
I want to sincerely thank everyone who wrote a FanPost Friday submission for this maiden voyage first season of this series and here’s to many more!
