On this fine Sunday afternoon Seattle sports will partake in a little Texas two-step. The Mariners have agreed to play the Texas Rangers in Arlington while the Dallas Cowboys have arranged a play date with the Seahawks. I, for one, am interested to see who will win the games.
I have not paid much attention to the Mariners recently, but I did see that they scored a season-high 13 runs in Saturday’s shutout, which likely means that they will get no-hit by Martin Pérez today. Also, Mitch Haniger is getting the day off, which is his first since early July according to Greg Johns.
