Mariners Moose Tracks, 9/2/18: PLAYOFF RACE, Legends Conversing, and Huskies Losing

We love September links,

MLB: Seattle Mariners at Oakland Athletics Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports

The Mariners will look for a series win today in Oakland. If they do so, they will be 3.5 games back of the A’s with 25 games to play. Furthermore, the Mariners begin a series with the worst team in baseball, the Baltimore Orioles. Meanwhile, the A’s have to host the Yankees. Don’t stop believing, my friends. Here are some links to prepare you for today’s game.

In Mariners News...

  • The Mariners’ rotation is still unclear for the Baltimore series.
  • Both the A’s and the Mariners have felt the benefits of having great back ends of the bullpen.
  • Mike Zunino’s slash lines from the first and second halves of the year are almost identical.
  • Just thought I would leave this here.
  • Check out James Paxton’s 10 strikeouts from last night.

Around the League...

  • Francis Ford Coppola wants oportunities for women and men to play baseball together.
  • My brain cannot process this.
  • Khris Davis is very good at hitting.
  • Adrian Beltre everyone.

Luke’s Pick...

  • The Washington Huskies lost their season opener to Auburn. Here was a sweet play by Quinten Pounds.
