It’s amazing how much something we love can become a drudge. Like work, or the 2018 Mariners season. The collective sigh, at this point of “another game today?” from all of us is reasonably enough to push ferries across Elliott Bay. But I bring good news! The Mariners’ playoff odds have TRIPLED since the start of the Angels series!*
*ed. please do not investigate this claim, it will not make you happier.

Not that any of you asked, but I can’t say I care much for this lineup. Here’s hoping Ryon Healy continues his signs of life (?) and Robinson Cano smacks a huge double in a late pinch hit appearance that is actually a home run because lolcrawfishboxes. With Oakland off, they can, in fact, make up a half game with a win. My idiot lizard brain hasn’t given up hope, figuring if we can get to striking distance by the Oakland series next week, well, who knows?
Like I said. Idiot lizard brain.
