Mariners Moose Tracks, 9/14/18: James Paxton, David Wright, and Trevor Story

Happy Friday!

MLB: Game One-Miami Marlins at New York Mets Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning folks and a happy Friday to one and all. Here are some stories to get your day started.

In Mariners news...

  • I wonder what this could mean for the coming offseason.
  • This is no surprise but it’s still good to see that it’s done on paper.
  • The bad luck just never ends for Pax.
  • Joon Lee at Bleacher Report checked in on Mike Marjama, who recently retired from baseball to focus on helping people with eating disorders.
  • Sigh
  • Edwin Díaz is the star of a music video!

Around the league...

  • David Wright will be activated from the disabled list so he can play in one final homestand before he retires. Wright has not appeared in a big league game since 2016 and he hasn’t had a season of 40+ games played since 2014.
  • I mean, they’ve got to, right?
  • Sheesh.
  • Well he certainly planned this out.
  • And another one bites the dust.
  • How is it that the Rockies have never won their division?
