There is baseball today. That baseball will not have Jean Segura or Yasiel Puig, but it will have the Mariners and Dodgers. So that’s nice for them. Here are the lineups for the baseball teams, which again, are the Mariners and the Dodgers.
Dee Gordon is back at shortstop, which makes me question why Gordon Beckham and Andrew Romine are here and Ben Gamel is in Tacoma. Nothing against Gordon or Andrew. But seriously, bring back Ben Gamel. Start four outfielders if you have to. Just do it. Wade LeBlanc pitches for the Mariners; lately I’ve been thinking Jamie Moyer was an ur-LeBlanc all along and we didn’t know it. No, that doesn’t make sense. Yes, I know. Enjoy the game.
