Well, that was one of the more exciting trade deadlines in the last several years. The M’s were quite active the past few days, acquiring a trio of relievers in Sam Tuivailala, Zach Duke, and Adam Warren, and bolstered their outfield with one Cameron Maybin. Tuivailala and Duke are in uniform and available for tonight’s game, while Warren and Maybin will arrive tomorrow. Jake did a great dive into the new relievers here, and I highly recommend giving that a read.
Lineups!

Chris Herrmann hitting sixth sure is a thing. While an Altuve and Correa-less Astros lineup looks much less threatening, they still aren’t slouches, and Charlie Morton is a tall order. The hard-throwing righty has missed plenty of bats, but his walk rate has crept up to just a hair under 10%. If the Mariners can make him work, they stand a decent chance at getting to him.
