FanPost Friday: What’s your favorite ballpark, non-Safeco Field division?

Tell us about your baseball travels, friends

MLB: Miami Marlins at Colorado Rockies
COORS!

When you really love baseball, sometimes any old stadium will do. You find yourself on a road trip or in Memphis for business, and you see the local minor league team is playing and you treat yourself to some baseball just for the heck of it. Or maybe you like to plan out a trip every year or so to see the Mariners play in a stadium you’ve never been to. Whatever the reason, it’s always fun to check out another team’s digs.

In honor of a few LL staffers heading to Denver today to watch the Mariners play the Rockies at beautiful Coors Field, here is your prompt:

What’s your favorite ballpark, non-Safeco Field division?

We’re extremely spoiled by the cleanliness, modernity, and high aesthetic of Safeco Field. But what’s another ballpark you’ve been to that has really wowed you? Personally, I really enjoyed my visit to Miller Field in 2010 when the Mariners played there. The tale gate scene there is truly glorious. I’ve been to Target Field many times and love it’s easy downtown access and truly ridiculous Midwestern food options. AT&T Park is absolutely beautiful despite being located in the pee-soaked hellhole of San Francisco. But, enough about me, let’s here your baseball travel stories.

Write a FanPost about your favorite non-Safeco Field ballpark and we’ll front page the best submissions over the weekend. Feel free to give us a whole travelogue or just the highlights, whatever floats your boat on this gorgeous Friday in the Northwest.

Baseball is the greatest. Go Mariners.
