Safeco Field rules, but there’s always room for improvement!

Have you heard the good news? It’s Friday and the Seattle Mariners are still in sole possession of first place in the AL West. Wow, that is cool as heck to type out. But anyways, onto this week’s FanPost Friday prompt!

What ballpark feature would you most like to see at Safeco Field?

Safeco Field is total gem of a ballpark and it’s tastefully updated over the years to keep it modern, clean, and accessible, but hey, there’s always room for improvement, right? What kinds of ballpark or in-game features have you seen at other ballparks that you wish they’d implement at Safeco? The recent announcement of the Movie Pass-like July flat-rate ticket pass shows that the organization is always on the lookout for new trends in ticketing and ballpark attractions, so why stop there? How about regular Mascot races? A real organ player? A home run sculpture spectacle like in Miami? A Tal’s Hill-like on-field oddity? (ducks rotten fruit) Just kidding!

Submit FanPost telling us about your idea for a new ballpark attraction. Go crazy and get imaginative or just tell us why you think it would work well at Safeco Field. We’ll front page the best submissions over the weekend.

Go freakin’ Mariners.
