6/19/18: Open Game Thread

Sunday’s game was a stinker, but it’s impossible to feel bummed about splitting a series against one of the best teams in baseball. After the off day yesterday, the M’s kick off their long trip through the East Coast at Yankee Stadium, with Marco Gonzales taking the hill.

Opposing Marco will be Domingo Germán, who can miss plenty of bats and struck out ten in his last start. He can get wild at times, though, and has also struggled with a homer problem this year. Hopefully Seattle can take advantage of Yankee Stadium’s Little League right field fence.

Today is a big test for Gonzales - and the Mariners. Let’s see them rise to the occasion.
