Man, even without Robi, that’s still a nice looking lineup. Mike Minor has delivered a serviceable 4.54 FIP through exactly forty innings so far, with a dip in walks countered by a spike in dingers. The M’s are running a lineup featuring just two lefty hitters in Dee Gordon and Kyle Seager, and with a nice night in Seattle and Minor’s flyballiness, seeing a dinger parade tonight isn’t out of the question.
Mike Leake is coming off of a very solid start in which he threw seven innings of two-run ball. Over his past three starts, Leake has put up a solid 3.80 FIP, and his ground ball rate has begun to creep back up. The Mariners are 1-0 in Canó’s absence - let’s see if they can keep it going!
