Good morning everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and your unexpected day off from baseball yesterday with the M’s being snowed out in Minnesota. Today the M’s will take on the Royals in Kansas City. Here are some links to get you through your day and get you prepped for tonight’s contest.
In Mariners news...
- Shannon Drayer was pretty frustrated about the Minnesota situation yesterday.
Here's the thing that gets me. The Mariners now have to travel and play on an off day and because they have a roof at Safeco, will never put out another team that way.

- Here’s a little under-the-radar roster move.
Mariners won’t need to make an official roster move since there is no game. But reliever Chasen Bradford will likely join the team.

- And here’s an update on our friend Jayson Werth.

- Oh yikes. Good luck Dave!
You know Mariners injury situation is out of hand when broadcaster Dave Sims ruptured his Achilles tendon playing hoops. He's headed back to Seattle for likely surgery and some DL time as well.

- After much procrastination, the Brewers have placed outfielder Christian Yelich on the disabled list with an oblique injury.
- Shohei Ohtani took a perfect game into the seventh inning against the A’s last night. Ohtani ended up throwing seven innings of one-hit baseball with 12 punch-outs.
- Giancarlo Stanton is off to a pretty rough start in New York, but the slugger seems unconcerned.
Anders’ picks...
- NEW STAR WARS TRAILER ALERT!
- Congrats to Gabbie and the Husky softball team!
PERFECTO!
