Good morning! Today is the last day of this absolute bonkers start to the season - after tomorrow’s off day, the Mariners are playing every day through the 29th. Hooray for routines! Hooray for consistent scheduling! Hooray for no more 30-degree baseball!

Another day, another first start for a Mariners bench player. Andrew Romine starts at second base today, allowing Robinson Canó to have a half day off at DH. With another lefty in Danny Duffy on the mound for Kansas City, Guillermo Heredia and Taylor Motter start once again. While Duffy has struggled in his first two starts, he’s still a solid pitcher, and this game shouldn’t be considered a gimme.
It’s a balmy day in KC, with temperatures reaching the 70s by first pitch. Hopefully the M’s hitters can take advantage and elevate a few fastballs. Win the series!
