Good morning and welcome to Day 2 of spring training! After seeing a handful of projected regulars yesterday, today’s lineup features much more of the “B” team:

Dee Gordon gets the start again in center, and hopefully he gets even one fly ball hit his way in the few innings he’ll play. The utility man battle is officially on today, with Taylor Motter getting his first start of spring alongside Andrew Romine. With Ryon Healy still on the mend and Daniel Vogelbach’s ailing foot, plan to see a lot more Mike Ford than most expected. But it’ll be fun, I promise! We’ll also get our first look at Mike Marjama, who came into camp as the likely frontrunner in the backup catcher race.
In sadder news, though...
Mitch Haniger has a sore hand from taking BP. He's not going to play in games for a handful of days.

Booooo. While Scott Servais admitted that he may have overreacted given Healy’s similar injury, they aren’t taking any chances, which is good! Get well soon, Mitch.
