Welcome to the Christmas morning and/or all 8 nights of Chanukah of playoff baseball. All 4 Divisional Series are crackin’ off within 2 to 3 hours of each other. From 11 AM PDT on, it’s nothing but but high stakes baseball until bedtime (your mileage may vary). First up, we’ve got two absolute shitstain franchises about to duke it out in Houston. Whoever loses, we all win!
Lineups!
Game time: 11:05 AM
TV: TBS
Radio: MLB.com etc
Next up, game two of the Rockies and Brewers scrapfest. The Brewers walked it off in extras last night, so the Rockies better make some noise here unless they want to go back to Denver get booted out of the playoffs on their home field.
Lineups!
Game time: 1:15 PM
TV: FS1
Radio: MLB.com etc
Is it surprising to anyone else that this is the first time the Yankees and Red Sox have faced each other in the playoffs since 2004? I guess it’s just because those early 00’s series have been so mythologized over the years and constantly talked about. But, anyways, all the runs in this series will be scored on home runs. That is fact. I will brook no arguments on the matter.
Lineups!
Game time: 4:32 PM
TV: TBS
Radio: MLB.com etc
For the night cap, we’ve got the Braves at the Dodgers. The Dodgers stomped the #BARVES pretty good last night, so I’m hoping the Braves can bounce back here and make it a series.
Lineups!
Game time: 6:37 PM
TV: FS1 (how is a Braves playoff game not on TBS?)
Radio: MLB.com
Happy game-threading, folks! Enjoy your commitment-free, high stakes baseball!
