Good morning everybody! In case you missed it, the Brewers won the NL Central crown yesterday while the Dodgers won the NL West tiebreaker. That sets up the Rockies and Cubs to play a winner-take-all Wild Card Game. They’ll face off later today. While you wait for that, here are some links for ya.

- Some interesting drama going on in Japan...
Japan's amateur baseball federation, angry that the #Diamondbacks signed pitcher Shumpei Yoshikawa without his having declared he was leaving his corporate league team, is now shooing #MLB scouts away at amateur baseball games. 1/2
— Jim Allen (@JballAllen) September 29, 2018
Because #NPB teams in the past often paid amateurs to lure them when they were ready to turn pro, Japan's pro scouts are technically banned from speaking to amateurs, but they do. #MLB teams should have better access but often don't. 2/2
