A rainy Saturday afternoon is an appropriate mood for the second to last game of the season. We’ve had our gaze turned towards the offseason for a while now, but these final golden drops of summer still have some sweetness in them. The AL Wild Card has been firmed up for some time, but today marks the solidification of the entire playoff field. Colorado clinched a playoff spot with Milwaukee’s loss to the Cardinals. Tonight, in a lower-stakes affair, we’ll have Andrew Albers facing off against Los Angeles Angels Opening Day Starter Ricky Nolasco™. The Mariners will run out, well, a lineup you’d expect from a team out of contention in their penultimate matchup. Gordon Beckham gets his first start at shortstop as a Mariner. More Jacob Hannemann for y’all.

No Daniel Vogelbach though. Let’s not get crazy.

Today's Lineups
