Sporcle Friday: End of Season Hit Streaks

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the last Sporcle Friday of the 2017 season than to honor Ben Gamel’s five game hit streak. End of the year hitting streaks are awesome. Players end their seasons with some confidence, which can hopefully carry over into the next season.

I wanted to see the biggest hit streaks to end a season for Mariners’ players. There were some interesting findings. For example, a certain player in 2015 had a nine-game hit streak at the end of August before moving to another team. I guess that technically was the end of his season as a Mariner. So I decided to count that. There are a few occurrences similar to that in this quiz; however, the definite majority are just hit streaks to close a season. Good luck, friends!
