SoftbaLL Part II: The Reckoning

Lookout Landing is hosting another softbaLL game and you should come play and/or hangout

NERRRRRRRDS!!!!! Photo by msb, altered by Leonard Su

SoftbaLL! Last time was so much fun (and memorialized in song form by the incomparable Leonard Su) that we just had to do it again. So, to celebrate/mourn the end of the Mariners baseball season and before the darkness and cold gets us all, we’re playing a game of softbaLL.

Details!

2 PM - 4 PM

Magnuson Park, Field #8

Click here for a map. It’s off of NE 65th and Sportsfield Dr. NE (yes that’s a street apparently).

The field has a turf infield and grass outfield, so we’ll be playing rain or shine. Hopefully not super rainy, but hey, we are Washingtonians and this is what we have to put up with.

All are welcome! Please bring your kids, your dogs, your kid’s dogs, etc. Come to play or just hang out and make Statler and Waldorf-like jokes at our expense. We’re all friends here.

Please feel free to bring snacks and beverages to share. Also if you’re able to throw a few bucks my way to help cover the field rental fee, that would be lovely.

[Isabelle's note: everyone was great about paying me back last time, and I hope the same will be true for Eric. He is deserving of many, many kudos for organizing this final round of baseball friends/softball goodness.]

We will likely head out after the game to drink beer at a local establishment to be named later, so keep your eyes peeled for that. If you have any suggestions, let us know.
