Yesterday was an exciting day of new toys, with Mike Leake on the mound and the roster expansions of Sept. 1 giving the Mariners a deep bench. Today, however, is almost the polar opposite, with cold reality hitting the fanbase in the form of Yovani Gallardo.
But! It’s Lookout Landing Night at the ballpark, and that should give any M’s fan (especially any fan reading this on Lookout Landing dot com) reason to celebrate. Hopefully Yo will do the same later tonight.
