Apparently, in some parts of the world, they play baseball without a roof.
I don't think the hard stuff is going to come down for a while. I'd keep playing. pic.twitter.com/rFJraRvxm0

So, will there be a game today? It’s hard to say. With all the rain, things aren’t looking promising — Google switches between “Thunderstorms” and “Heavy Thunderstorms” until about 4am tomorrow morning — but stranger things have happened in baseball.
Unfortunately, though out of the blue, the news from earlier today was not quite as strange as avoiding a rainout.
The #Mariners have placed RHP Felix Hernandez on 10-day DL, retro to Aug. 2, w/right biceps tendinitis...recalled LHP Marco Gonzales.

Despite Felix’s struggles this season, it’s still a bummer to see him head to the DL, and there’s really no guarantee that Marco Gonzales will be better. In all likelihood, we won’t find out until tomorrow, anyway.
But! For the meantime, let’s pretend this game is going to happen and check out the lineups. The Mariners got a little bit of good news with the return to the cleanup spot of one Nelson Ramón Cruz:
